Okay, let’s cut to the chase: I am bald. Well, I am losing my hair and instead of trying Rogaine or working the comb over, I decided to start shaving the old noggin back in 2005. People (as in, my wife) seemed to like the look so it has become permanent. Thus, the “Shaven” description for this site.
Second, I graduated from Benedictine College in 1993 with two degrees (BA’s in Economics and Mathematics). BC is becoming (or rather it already is, in my opinion) one of America’s great Catholic colleges. This place, my time there, and the friends I made in Atchison hold a special place in my heart. After all, I met my lovely wife at Benedictine. Therefore, I will always be a Raven.
Beyond these two very basic things….here are some other facts about me that you might find interesting:

- Graduated Suma Cum Laude, 1993 (BAs in Economics and Mathematics)
- Married 29+ years to Rhonda; Father of Aaron (30), Brandon (26), and Josie (22); father-in-law to Elanie; grandfather to Nathaniel
- 2008 Graduate from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with MS in Finance
- Commodity trader for various companies over 15 years
- Natural gas liquids broker for 11+ years
- Independent distributor for AdvoCare
So…while this site contains my stories, opinions, and musings about various subjects, it really isn’t about me. I am motivated by a desire to help people become more and experience more.
You were made for more. God created you with a specific purpose in mind and as long as you are breathing, that is proof of hope. It is proof that your work here isn’t finished (cf. Jer 29:11)
